About Us
Founded in 2006, The Baltimore Montessori provides a high-quality education experience based on traditional Montessori concepts. With two locations in Downtown Baltimore, we offer programs for children between 18 months and 6 years. As the first private Montessori school in Baltimore City to be certified by both the Maryland State Department of Education and the Montessori Schools of Maryland, we have nearly 20 years of experience giving Baltimore families the best in early childhood education.

Our Faculty
Our faculty is composed of Montessori Directresses and Teacher Assistants. Because we believe in providing quality education in a stimulating and nurturing environment for our children, we ensure that all members of our staff are qualified to perform their designated duties as per the Montessori method of education. Additionally, the staff is subjected to State and Federal Criminal Background checks as well as a physical examination to ensure that they are safe and healthy enough to work with our children. The common underlying factor among our staff is their genuine love for children and their teamwork approach in helping them to reach their potential.
